Washington - Business Roundtable CEO Joshua Bolten today issued the following statement after the House passed a short-term government funding bill:
“Business Roundtable applauds the House for passing a stopgap spending measure to provide negotiators more time to reach a year-long agreement. Funding the government is an essential responsibility of Congress, and we urge both chambers to reach an agreement to avoid a shutdown.”
